BioThis journal belongs to a college student in Portland Oregon. Se is also a sandwich artist, a Trekkie and Whovian, a geek, a hippie, a curious and avid lover of things to learn. Se is majoring in environmental science, and cherishes a connection with the planet Earth over most everything else. Se is genderqueer (hence the pronouns), and bisexual (which really just makes things easier all around), and se is in love.
My most profound influence has been Carl Sagan, followed closely by Richard Dawkins, and by Captain Kirk and Mr Spock, Doctors Nine and Ten, and my cat Simon. I would also like to thank the members of Queen and the Beatles, my mother and father, Phil Plait and PZ Meyers, and Patrick Rothfuss for not following the formula.
